Abby Bandurraga
Abby Bandurraga is a senior TA consultant with 20 years of experience in workforce development and youth development and mental health. Most recently, she has focused on developing technical assistance and capacity building to support state apprenticeship agencies, including systems alignment between workforce boards, policymakers, and community-based organizations.
Bandurraga's primary responsibilities include serving as a subject matter expert on the expansion of the U.S. Registered Apprenticeship system and diversity, equity, and inclusion in and access to registered apprenticeship opportunities. She has extensive experience in implementing statewide apprenticeship initiatives, community engagement to develop program and operational systems that promote equity for historically marginalized and oppressed communities, synthesizing complex policy, data, and research in a manner that is accessible to diverse audiences.
Prior to joining AIR, Bandurraga was apprenticeship operations manager for the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries Apprenticeship and Training Division.
