The Illinois CSI Effect: Leading the Way to Continuous Improvement

The Illinois Center for School Improvement (Illinois CSI) at AIR presents the video series The Illinois CSI Effect: Leading the Way to Continuous Improvement. The videos in this series highlight the stories of five rural and urban Illinois districts, providing a sample of the positive changes happening across the state as a result of the multiyear partnership at the district, school, and classroom levels. Illinois CSI works closely with districts identified by the Illinois State Board of Education to receive services to provide intensive capacity-building support to education leaders as they strive to transform their instructional and administrative systems and improve student outcomes.

In spite of challenging circumstances, these district and school leadership teams committed themselves to transforming the delivery of education in their systems by focusing on changing adult practices, which ultimately led to significant increases in student achievement.
