AIR vice president David Osher and ASCD team visit Finland, blog about the education system

From January 15–22, 2011, ASCD sent a diverse group of professionals from fields in education advocacy, communications, leadership, and research to Finland to examine the policies and education practices that have produced what is arguably the world's best national system of schools. During that time, AIR vice president David Osher and other experts posted to the ASCD blog reflections on conditions for teaching and learning, social emotional learning, and handling disruptive behaviors.
